Course objectives
The goal of seminar is to deepen the knowledge about Russian syntax on practical language material. At the end of this course the student will be able to categorize syntactic phenomena of Russian language, to show differences in the construction of sentences in Russian and Czech languages, to apply creatively knowledge.

  • Evolving sentence elements. Compound and Complex sentences. General characteristics. Compound sentence. Classification. Complex sentence. Classification. Asyndetic sentence. Typology. Complex-compound sentence. General characteristics and classification. Punctuation in complex and compound sentences.
