The basic study material is New English File Upper Intermediate. The students who do not pass Practical language 2A and 2B have to take a revision test covering the syllabus of the two courses (ZS1BP_AJ2A and AJ2B) to be able to continue in ZS1BP_AJ3A. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at the Upper-Intermediate Level. The basic study material is the coursebook New English File UPPER - Intermediate supplemented by various additional materials. At the end of the course students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at the Upper-Intermediate Level and communicate in the language fluently.

- The basic study material is the coursebook New English File UPPER -INTERMEDIATE (Student's book and Workbook), see Literature bellow. The syllabus includes Units 3 - 4, the focus is on speaking and listening activities and development of students' vocabulary.

- Maximal amount of points for the course is 200 consisting of: - final written test - 80 points (minimal pass mark is 70 % with a possibility of re-sits) - oral test - 50 points - placement test 1 - 10 points (the first lesson) - placement test 2 - 20 points (the final lesson) - progress test - 10 points (in the middle of the semester) - progress evaluation (preparation for classes, homework, active participation) - 30 points
