Course objectives
The course of educational psychology follows up the courses of general and individual psychology, developmental psychology and social psychology. The aim of the course is to enhance the theoretical base for effective use in teacher´s practice in school. At the end of this course student schould be able to:
- understand and explaine the theory of learning;
- apply the factors in the teaching-learning process and educational process;
- interpret the knowledge from this course into student s learning process;
- use the knowledge in the field of teaching-learning process, regularity in learning, psychology of instruction, educational process;
Syllabus
  • 1. Education psychology, its methods, psychology in school practice.
  • 2. Learning theory, psychological conception.
  • 3. Learning process, motivation, feed-back, transfer and interference;
  • 4. Psychology of inteligence and creativity;
  • 5. Reasons of the school failure;
  • 6. Learning style, structure of subject matter, learning strategies, mind mapping, teaching-learning process.
  • 7. Psychology of education, reward, punishment, self-education, parenting style.
  • 8. Pupil´s personality, Children with special needs, copying with school load, stress in school.
  • 9. Teacher´s personality, teacher´s stress, burn-out.
