Prerequisites
At the end of the course the future foreign language teachers should to be able to plan their own teaching and to help their pupils during the language learning process. The aim of the subject is to increase knowledge in the field of theoretical and practical principles of language teaching methodology and related disciplines. The knowledge will be discussed and reflected in relation to their application in teaching practice, students acquire theoretical knowledge and teaching competences.

Course objectives
At the end of the semester, students should be able to use the discussed topics in practise and to make their own teaching plans. Furthermore they should be familiar with the theoretical basis of the discussed topics.
Learning outcomes
Students are able to apply the topics discussed and independently undertake lesson planning.
