Course objectives
The course makes students familiar with cross-cutting themes in the Framework Education Programme (FEP). It names values connected with cross-cutting themes and conceptualizes cross-cutting themes as significant educational areas in current education. It shows possibilities of integrating cross-cutting themes into curriculum themes. Subsequently, students will choose one of the cross-cutting themes, design an educational activity in the framework of this theme, they realize it in a seminar group, and assess it. They will require feedback from their colleagues as well as their teachers and they will also reflect on this activity themselves, including a suggestion of possible alterations. The outcome is also methodology creation for this activity. The best methodology will be offered to be published in the Komenský journal.
