- Course objectives
- The course covers the period of the 19th century British literature, from mid-nineteenth to the mid-twentieth century. At the end of the course, students will be able to identify, individually interpret,question, and critically evaluate major works of the period at the cultural, social, and historical context.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course the students will have a) become acquainted with the relevant period of literary history in the cultural and historical context of Great Britain; b) read and analysed selected texts in English; c) will have understood the potential of literature in the context of ELT
