Prerequisites
The course is open to all those interested in the issue of processing plastics in traditional and non-traditional ways. No input knowledge of materials is required.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.
The capacity limit for the course is 200 student(s).
Current registration and enrolment status: enrolled: 85/200, only registered: 7/200, only registered with preference (fields directly associated with the programme): 0/200
fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
Course objectives
The aim of this course is focused on introducing various types of industry methods and different types of polymers to all participants of this course. These knowledge can be used in self production of each participant.
Learning outcomes
The outputs of this course, which the participant will apply after graduation, can include: - ability to recognize thermoplastic and thermoset, to be able to orientate in basic properties necessary for practical work with them - ability to orientate in commonly available commercial products of specialized shops - describe and apply individual processing methods (cutting, sawing, bending, casting, vacuuming, etc.) on a specific type of polymer - to implement own projects according to studied materials -

Teaching methods
teaching in the form of an interactive curriculum, individual teaching = self-study, practical independent production of products according to the syllabus
Assessment methods
After studying the interactive syllabus of the e-course, the following condition must be met in order to obtain a colloquium: Successfully pass the final online test - this test can be taken at any time during the study of the e-course, the test consists of   20 questions without a time limit - to successfully pass it is necessary to have at least 12 questions correctly (60%). OPTIONAL (on a voluntary basis): Do you make interesting things from polymers in your free time or with your children? If so, and would like to share these creations with us, you can do so through a photo that you upload to the submission room of this item. Your creations will be an inspiration to others. Just submit a photo of min. one product made by hand (it can be a product made at home according to the curriculum or a product made with children);
