- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to develop and consolidate the theoretical knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body, that the listener has gained in lectures and self-study. In addition to discussions about the gained theoretical knowledge is an important objective of practical exercises to increase the teacher-student interaction and motivate student's maximum for individual thinking on the implementation of specific tasks and to acquire the knowledge and skills of the physiology of the human body, and first aid. The important thing is to create a base and a positive attitude towards the issue of the prevention of certain defects and disorders (stress, cerebrovascular disease, cutaneous and neurological diseases, etc.). After their course, students should be able to: -describe and explain the structure and function of the human body -implement a simple examination of the fitness of the organism -implement a simple examination of the mechanism of equilibrium -provide an efficient first aid -recognize the most common disorders of the structure and function of organs systems -the student is able to use the acquired knowledge in educational practice -understands the specific needs of child's organism
- Learning outcomes
- Student: - uses the correct professional anthropological terminology and is able to select concepts and physiological processes corresponding to the level of primary school pupils - demonstrates simple examinations of organ functions and the influence of alcohol on the child's organism - Apply effective first aid according to the latest recommendations of the European Resuscitation Commission - defines the most common disorders of the structure and function of individual systems, identifies the specific needs of the child organism and can use it in pedagogical practice
