Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are basic knowledge of cosmological history, the theoretical foundations of contemporary cosmology and the experimental possibilities of their examination, as well as the basic skills of application of the cosmological view of the world. The main educational content includes concepts such as galaxies, theory of relativity, relic radiation, inflation, big bang
Objectives:
Knowledge: the universe consists of particles, space and time, the universe is not static
Skills: Describe experiments that confirm contemporary cosmological notions
Attitudes: to appreciate human sophistication
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should know:
• Use information about the basic concepts of the origin and development of the universe
• orientate in the theoretical foundations of today's physical cosmology
• understand perspectives.
