- Course objectives
- This course provides an overview of German literary periods from the beginnings untill the beginning of the 20th century.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to characterize the relevant literary periods from the beginning of German writing to 1900.

- The lecture ends with a oral exam: 2 questions on history of literature. Regular participation in lectures is desirable and useful.

- In the case of a trip abroad, it is possible to complete the subject in a substitute form. After returning from the trip, it is possible to take an oral exam. You can find details about the possibility of taking the subject in case of going abroad in the interactive syllabus.
