- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is: - to use the acquired knowledge of the Classical Greek normative grammar while reading the New Testament; - to improve the ability of students to search for and use by themselves the auxiliary literature while reading and interpreting Greek text (commentaries, translations, databases, dictionaries etc.).
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, students will be able to make a grammatical analysis, a translation and an interpretation of the New Testament on a high level.

- Reading the New Testament: the student is obligated to read at least one Gospel according to his own choice.
- Grammatical analysis, a translation and an interpretation of the New Testament.
- Analysis of the problematic places in selected parts of the New Testament.

- The course is being taught in the form of individual consultations based on student's individual reading.
- Assessment methods
- The course ends with an oral exam. In order to be awarded credits, students have to demonstrate the ability of correct interpretation and translation of a selected part of the New Testament.
