- Course objectives
- Students reinforce and develop their skills in the field of translation and interpreting. 1. Translation of different types of texts. 2. Consecutive interpreting. 3. Simmultaneous interpreting
- Learning outcomes
- Student who successfully complete the course are acquainted with: a) basic principles of translation; with issues concerning Translation from Czech into Spanish. b) basic principles of interpreting; with issues concerning Interpreting from Czech into Spanish.

- Teaching methods
- In the seminars students are expected to make use of theoretical knowledge, while working with different sort of texts. Thorough previous preparation is requiered.
- Assessment methods
- Regular homework required. Students should meet assignment submission deadlines (see interactive syllabus). For each task not delivered in time, 3 points are awarded, which are subtracted from the total of 100 points that can be achieved in the final exam. Written test, success rate: 70%.
