Course objectives
An introduction to methodology of film history research, guidelines for using literature and sources and academic writing.
Main task: to carry out an individual research project.
Main objectives: to prepare students for their individual research work.
Syllabus
  • I. An introduction to methodology of film history research.
  • II. Realization of an individual research project from local history of cinema (typically history of a local movie theatre) based on exploration of sources.
