Course objectives
An introduction to methodology of film history research, guidelines for using literature and sources and academic writing.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- carry out an individual research project,
- use research methods based on exploration of sources,
- practise academic writing.
Syllabus
  • I. An introduction to methodology of film history research.
  • II. Realization of an individual research project from local history of cinema (typically history of a local movie theatre) based on exploration of sources.
