Course objectives
This course provides basic information about the profession of an interpreter today as well as the essential resources and guidelines for self-study and practice. This blended course will help the budding interpreters improve their skills by working together on the assigned topics and tasks.

Class (two lessons every other week); online activities: a combination of teacher-led activities and student-centered/group learning activities will be employed.

(1) continuous, (2) attendance (1 absence), (3) performance in class, (4) final exam: interpreting a speech + sight interpreting.
