Course objectives
At the end of the course, students should understand, analyze nad explain key theoretical approaches to cognitive processes. They should be able put the information about distinctive theoretical approaches to cognitive phenomena to use in various psychological applications.

  • 1) introduction – the emergence and antecedents of cognitive psychology; cognitive neuroscience 2) attention, consciousness 3) perception 4) memory 5) mental representation 6) language 7) reasoning, problem solving, decision making 8) intelligence
