- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to present detective novels in Italian literature. Modern detective stories: Andrea Camilleri, Gianrico Carofiglio, Marco Malvaldi.
- Syllabus
- A short history of detective novels in Italian literature. Focus on three contemporary writers who are deeply bound to their native region: Andrea Camillery and Sicily, Gianrico Carofiglio and Apulia, Marco Malvaldi and Tuscany. Focus on stylistic and lexical elements with references to regional Italian.
