- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge of Italian (A0-A1 CEFR).
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- communicate in the most common situations of everyday life,
- ask questions (hobbies, languages, work, study, lessons, etc.) and simply answer them,
- read a short text and to write several coherent sentences,
- apply basic grammar rules. - Syllabus
- Italian pronunciation.
- Italian article.
- Singural and plural of nouns and adjectives.
- Introducing oneself. The verb "essere".
- Verbs of the I,II and III verbal classes.
- Auxiliary verbs: dovere, potere, volere.
- Asking a direction.
- Cardinal numerals. Hours.
- Irregural verbs: essere, avere, andare, venire, uscire, fare, dire, sapere, stare.
- Greetings. To describe a person.
- To accept and decline an invitation.
- Writing a letter.
- Past tense „Passato prossimo“: formation and use.
- Adverbs and modal verbs in the past tense.
- Telling a story in the past tense.
