- The course is dedicated to major European and world translators and translation theorists (St. Jerome, Martin Luther, Etienne Dolet, Friedrich Schleiermacher, Walter Benjamin, Jean-Paul Vinay - Jean Darbelnet, Roman Jacobson, John Catford, Georges Mounin, Jiří Levý, Marianne Lederer, George Steiner, Henri Meschonnic, Katharina Reiss and Hans Vermeer, Christiane Nord, Gideon Toury, I. Even-Zohar).
