Course objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the Italian morphological system, in particular lexical classes, inflection and word formation. They will learn to identify lexical forms, their characteristics and use in practical language.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course the student will have acquired an awareness of the main semantic and morphosyntactic features of the various lexical classes. Moreover, they will be able to apply this knowledge both to the practical use of the Italian language and to its theoretical description.
