Course objectives
Exhibition museum didactics will introduce students to basic didactic principles in exhibitions of an initial design phase, through implementation to the process of evaluation. In order to strengthen the objective interpretation of museum content shows the basis of general pedagogy and psychology and their use in exhibition activities. Theoretical knowledge transfers practical experience through direct participation in the subject of museum exhibitions. Regardless of its future professional focus, it is based on the completion of both museums of didactic subjects (presentation museum didactics, exhibition museum didactics) ready for functional cooperation with the Museum Educator or on the performance of the Museum Educational Profession at all.
Learning outcomes
Completion of the course will enable students: - defines the importance of museum didactics in the creating of exhibitions;
- shall describe the museum didactic principles within museum exhibitions creating;
- recognize didactic materials and aids and their benefits;
- applies acquired theoretical knowledge of the upcoming exhibition within the course of museum exhibitions creating.
