- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge of Italian (A0-A1 CEFR).
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- communicate in the most common situations of everyday life,
- ask questions (hobbies, languages, work, study, lessons, etc.) and simply answer them,
- read a short text and to write several coherent sentences,
- apply basic grammar rules. - Syllabus
- Greetings.
- Italian pronunciation.
- Introducing oneself. The verb "essere".
- Singural and plural of nouns and adjectives.
- Family relation. Possessive pronouns.
- Verbs of the I,II and III verbal classes. Reflexive verbs.
- Hours. Cardinal numerals.
- Italian article.
- The Italians end bars. Food.
- Writing an e-mail. Telephone conversation.
- Past tense "Passato prossimo". Concordance with direct pronouns.
- Telling about myself. Asking and answering in the past tense.
- Doscription of a house, of an appartment. "C'è, ci sono".
