- Course objectives
- A systematic explanation of the normative grammar of the Attic dialect in the Classical period (according to Lexis: 30-39). Morphology: atematic verbs, summarization of all stems types of the Greek verbal system, dual, numerals. Syntax: infinitive and participal constructions, temporal clauses, indirect speech. At the end of this course, students should be able to use the explained grammar and vocabulary by the active and passive translation of the Old Greek texts.
