Course objectives
A topic-based course aimed at vocabulary expansion, using skills acquired in Collocations A. The focus of this course is not translation but the study of new expressions and the company they keep. The aim is to create a database of collocations with their translations. Czech corpora and parallel corpora will also be used in the course. There are two coursebooks: Idioms in Use and Idioms Workbook.
