- Course objectives
- Basic theoretical presentation of Croatian morphology and word formation, similarities and differences with Czech language, knowledge of specific Croatian linguistic terminology. At the end of the course students will
- be able to demonstrate the knowledge of Croatian morphology.
- have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of linguistics.
- have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of comparative study of Slavonic languages
- be familiar with Croatian grammar - contrast and compare Czech and Croatian language - Syllabus
- Basic terminology (morphology, word formation, morph, alomorh, ending, suffix, prefix, etc); word classes - comparison of the characteristics of the Croatian and Czech word classes, comparison of the principles of word formation in both languages.
