Course objectives
The course is not being taught in the standard form; during consultations the student solves the actual problems and answers questions concerning the text, which is prescribed to translation.
At the end of this course, students should be able to translate and interpret the writings of Herodot in a correct way in the context of the ancient Greek historiography and they should also be well informed about his syntax.
