A number of texts and exercises are selected that deal with different topics: language & culture, education, economics & business, philosophy & ethics, psychology and law. By means of (popularised) scientific articles, the vocabulary of the student is extended and problematic grammatical issues are recapitulated. Receptive as well as productive competences are exercises, both at home and during class. Students are expected to reach level B2+/C1- (according to the CEFR) at the end of the course.
