- Course objectives
- Ideally during their fifth semester, in this course students will formulate a dissertation prospectus. The prospectus should include critical assessment of the existing scholarship, formulation of the student’s contribution to this body of scholarship, an outline of structure, and a comprehensive bibliography. All the above are presented to at an open session to the committee, which includes the supervisor, other teachers in the program and other graduate students. The objective is to generate feedback and to ensure a solid foundation prior the actual writing stage.
