The course is designed as a practical self-experience with coaching in the role of a client. The condition for successful completion of the course is 100% participation, active approach and involvement. Please think now and send us brief answers in advance to the following questions (ideally till 6.2.):
1. How would you summarize in one sentence the topic in which you want to move in coaching as a client?
2. What is your real client motivation for coaching?
3. What do you want to avoid in coaching as a client?
4. How do you know that coaching sessions are useful for you?
5. What else do you want to share with us now, what do you want to ask?
6. What is your previous experience with coaching?
7. Will you attend the introductory group meeting? If not, give a reason

Criteria for selecting students for the course: 1. answers to questions relevant to the objectives, outputs and syllabus of the course, 2. order of acceptance of answers
The request for exemption will be processed no later than the week before the first meeting.
When criteria are met, is possible to accept more students.

Course objectives
The student moves on in his / her own topic as a coaching client and thus gets acquainted with the method of individual coaching through his own client experience. By reflecting on their own experience individually and in a group, they become aware of the principles they can transfer to their future work with clients.

The topic for coaching should be something that you can influence and in which you want to move. It can be a personal topic you want to develop in, it can be about school, study, relationships, communication, your goals, completing some work, making a decision, your future direction, etc.
Learning outcomes
Completion of the course will bring the student:
- acquaintance with the basic principles of coaching and the coaching approach through one's own experience;
- moving into one's own topic through individual coaching;
- reflection on the process and benefits of coaching - individually and in a group of other students who will have similar experience;
- awareness for future work with people from the client experience and its reflection.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to the course - group meeting (acquaintance, organization of the course, questions, tuning expectations) - 2h - online, first week of the semester
  • 2.-6. Individual coaching with one selected coach - 5 hours online, February - May
  • 7. Individual work - continuous written reflections on coaching, input and output reflexive questionnaire - 3h - February - May
  • 8. Final evaluation and group reflection (joint reflections on individual work, transfer to further study, life, work with clients) - 2h online - last week of the semestr

Teaching methods
individual coaching, individual work (written reflection of coaching), sharing and reflection of coaching in a group
Date of the introductory online group meeting: Wednesday 17: 00-19: 00 in the first week of the semester (it can be adjusted if we find significant overlaps with your other subjects for more students). To successfully complete the course, it is necessary to attend this meeting.
Coaching dates will be arranged individually within about 1 hour in 14 days. The date of the final group evaluation will be agreed during the semester according to the preferences of individual participants.
An invitation to the first online meeting will be sent to you well in advance after all accepted students are enrolled.

Ing. Veronika Káchová

I graduated in Economics and Management at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. After graduating, I started working as a Business Controller in a multinational IT company, where I was given the opportunity to lead a small team, which led me to coaching. I have been actively involved in coaching since 2019. As a coach, I try to inspire clients to follow their dreams, not give up, and to support them on their journey.

Eva Vraníková

I accompany my clients through self-knowledge and development. The coaching meeting will offer you a safe environment for achieving the desired goals, so you can change your world for the better. At work, I respect each client as an individual being with their own unique story, psychological knowledge provides me with an ideal background for this. David Kříž I am a graduate of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, MUNI. During my studies, I underwent accredited coaching training for psychologists under the auspices of Practical Psychology s.r.o. My goal is to accompany the client on his journey to his goals and work towards them in gradual steps. I apply my coaching skills when working with employees in an IT company, as well as I use coaching techniques when working with children at the primary school where I work. I like the wide range of practical opportunities for coaching, but I also see it as a good starting point for becoming a therapist.
