Course objectives
The aim of what is formally the course is to enable students acquiring credits for relevant translation and translation-related work within long-term internships (of at least 2 or 3 months) such as
- with EU institutions;
- work stays within Erasmus+;
- with partners of the PAJ programme such as Orange Tree;
Learning outcomes
Completing a translation internship or another internship within the translation industry of at least 2 or 3 months with its specific requirements while obtaining high-quality feedback.
Syllabus
  • Subject to individual variations; a general syllabus cannot be provided.
Teaching methods
Internship; feedback acquisition and incorporation; work within larger projects and teams.
Assessment methods
Evaluation will be based on a short written self-evaluative report by the intern (plus, where relevant, a report from the organization providing the internship].
