Course objectives
The aim of the course is to improve listening skills by practicing listening to authentic recordings of native speakers of Chinese from various regions. The recordings correspond in difficulty to to the knowledge and skills of the second-year undergraduate students for whom this course is designed for this course. In the course, students will learn a variety of listening strategies, expand their vocabulary with expressions frequently used in the natural speech of native speakers, deepen their knowledge of prosody Chinese language and learn how to further develop their listening skills.
