Course objectives
In this course, the vocabulary of the students is expanded and consolidated. New and familiar words are offered on the basis of reading and listening texts, rehearsed at home via Quizlet and practiced in class on the basis of interactive (speaking) exercises. In this way, the receptive and productive skills are also practised. This optional course complements the compulsory course NLI_05 Jazyková cvičení I/2 and helps students reaching level A2(+).
Learning outcomes
The students can read simple texts, adapted to their level (A2)
They know the new words (including conjugations and inflections) and can use them in the right context
The student can have conversations about everyday topics

  • Classes are built around five books that the students read and listen to at home. They study the vocabulary, which is practiced during the lectures.
