Course objectives
To increase the confidence of doctoral students when presenting the results of their research.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- identify the gaps in knowledge which she/he attepmts to fill with her/his research/text;
- identify the essential goals and outputs of own research;
- to briefly present the essentials of own research both orally and in writing.
Syllabus
  • 1. Structure of academic text in social sciences.
  • 2. Relations between goals, methods and results.
  • 3. Identification of gaps in knowledge.
  • 4. Writing conference abstracts.
  • 5. Written presentation of own research.
  • 6. Oral presentation of own research.
