- Course objectives
- The objective of the lecture is getting to the students of biology the basic knowledges from biochemistry. Content of the first part includes propreties and functions of proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids. The second part is oriented onto enzymology. The last part is dedicated in metabolism and bioenergetics.

- Výuka probíhá formou přednášek, ke kterým mají studenti předem k dispozici soubor folií (Glatz, Zdeněk Biochemie I-III.). Ty jsou sestaveny tak, aby si do nich mohli studentu během prednášek dopisovat další poznatky. Zkoušky probíhají písemnou formou, student dostává test se třemi otázkami z oblasti statické biochemie, enzymologie a metabolismu a bioenergetiky a čtyri vzorce základních sloučenin, které má určit a uvést jejich funkci. Čas učený na test je 1 hodina. Test je klasifikován hodnocením A-F.
