- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to teach students to work with scientific literature, to be able to identify the problem, formulate hypothesis which is subsequently tested by the student using series of suitable experiments in laboratories of the Microbiological Department or collaborating laboratories of other scientific institutes. Results of experimental work together with the literature search are then used for preparation of Master’s thesis. Students are supervised by a member of Microbiological department or other collaborating scientist during the whole duration of the work. Master’s thesis is defended in from of a scientific board consisting of members of the Microbiological Department and other scientific institutes.
