- Course objectives
- The course summarizes up to date information concerning the investigation of Tertiary and Quaternary amphibian and reptile assemblages. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: Students get an idea on the distribution of Tertiary and Quaternary herpetofauna on the basis of the fossil material which was discovered in several localities; participants will be familiar with the application of herpetological taxa as indicators of paleoenvironmental characterization of selected localities.
