The student should be familiar with the basic terminology in structural geology. Passing the course G4101 Structural geology and geotectonics is a prerequisite for the students of the bachelor study in Geology. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- Hlavním obsahem předmětu je praktické provedení a procvičení nejdůležitějších metod zpracování tektonických dat. Předmět je určen posluchačům bakalářského se zájmem o poznání základních metod tektonického výzkumu a posluchačům magisterského studia, kteří hodlají složit státní zkoušku z tektoniky. Posluchačům, kteří se chtějí odborně (bakalářská, diplomová práce) věnovat tektonice, je absolvování předmětu doporučeno již ve třetím ročníku.

- understand the concepts of advanced structural geology
- use methods for processing of tectonic data
- process and interpret tectonic data

- Force, stress on a plane, stress in a point. Fracturation. Paleostress analysis. Ductile creep. Origin of preferred orientation. Izostasy.
