- 1. Biomolecular sample, characteristics, sample requirements 2. Sample quality analysis – stability, homogeneity 3. Structural methods for analysis of biomolecules, complementarity of techniques 4. Biomacromolecular crystals, crystallization techniques, crystallization experiment 5. Crystal properties, space group and symmetry, assymetric unit 6. Diffraction experiment, diffraciton images processing, methods for phasing, electron density 7. Structural model, density maps, model accuracy, validation, structural databases 8. Optimization of structural experiment 9. Laboratory practicals – characterization of protein sample and crystallization experiments
