- Course objectives
- Aim of the course is to give practical information about invertebrates; to learn students work with microscope for identification of species and drawing their inner structures; classify invertebrates into the system of animals.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to: identify those invertebrate taxa, which were presented during the course; draw invertebrates under microscope and describe particular structures; classify invertebrates into the system of animals.

- Introduction, Rhizaria, Excavata, Amoebozoa, Chromalveolata
- Chromalveolata - Ciliophora
- Porifera, Ctenophora, Cnidaria, Myxozoa
- Lophotrochozoa: Gastrotricha, Platyhelminthes, Rotifera, Acanthocephala
- Mollusca 1 - Aplacophora, Polyplacophora, Tryblidia, Gastropoda
- Mollusca 2 - Bivalvia, Cephalopoda, Scaphopoda
- Nemertea, Sipuncula, Annelida, Ectoprocta
- Ecdysozoa: Nematoida, Panarthropoda: Onychophora, Tardigrada
