Course objectives
The subject should give informations of basic mathematical techniques applicable in cartography.
Syllabus
  • 1. Basic concepts of logic and set theory.
  • 2. Vectors, matrices, determinants.
  • 3. Vector and euclidian spaces.
  • 4. Functions and their basic properties.
  • 5. Sequences, limit.
  • 6. Basic concepts of differential calculus: continuity, limit, derrivative.
  • 7. Basic concepts of integral calculus: antiderrivative, definite integral.
  • 8. Applications of derrivatives and integrals.
  • 9. Multiple variable functions, partial derrivatives.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Seminář s demonstracemi řešení úloh. Klasifikace zápočtu na základě dvou písemek.
