- Course objectives
- The main objectives of the course are:
to introduce mathematical description of mappings (linear algebra);
to exercise calculations with goniometric functions;
to acquire basic skills in using differential calculus. - Syllabus
- 1. Vectors, matrices, determinants.
- 2. Vector and euclidian spaces.
- 3. Functions and their basic properties.
- 4. Elementary functions; in particular the goniometric ones.
- 5. Sequences, limit.
- 6. Basic concepts of differential calculus: continuity, limit, derrivative.
- 7. Multiple variable functions, partial derrivatives, differential.
- 8. Applications of derrivative.
