- The goal of this course is to provide general basic knowledge about biochemical and molecular aspects of pathobiological processes and use of biochemical tests to obtain diagnostic information. The course consisted from two part, pathobiochemistry and methods in clinical biochemistry.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
understand to basic physiological events in healthy human organism;
understand and explain relationships between analytical parameters determined in clical biochemistry laboratories ans their diagnostic indication;
interpret basic non-physiological results and give them into a context of the potential disease - Syllabus
