Course objectives
Aim of the course is introduction of most important palaeolithic localities of the territory of South Moravia to the students by form of 5 one day excursions.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course will be students very good oriented in most important palaeolithic localities at our territory and will be able to interpret their siginificance for anthropology and will be able to interpert anthropological findings and the evidence of presence of humans at this sites.

  • 1. Excursion to site Červený kopec.
  • 2. Excursion to site Stránská skála.
  • 3. Excursion to site cave Pekárna.
  • 4. Excursion to site Dolní Věstonice and Pavlov.
  • 5. Excursion to anthropological exhibition at pavilion Anthropos (Moravian museum).
