Teaching methods
Oral lectures are held with help of powerpoint presentations with great number of snaps of respective Landscapes. Lecture presentations are available for the students in university Information System and during the lectures are commented. Class excercises will teach students to identify the landscapes on snaps. Instead of 4 class excercises a half-day excursion in Brno surroundings will be held, students are to prepare some information on visited Landscapes. Important part of the course is homework - "discovering trip" to Landscape selected by lot - and powerpoint presentation of the trip results.
Assessment methods
Oral exam (length about 30 min.) with possibility of preparation. Identifying of a landscape picture on the computer monitor is part of the exam too. Exam makes cca 70% of final mark and the level must be at E or higher. 30% of the final evaluation makes student´s activity in seminars and quality of the seminar powerpoint presentation. Before the exam, students will present own notes of the organized field trip.
