Course objectives
Main objective is extending of basic knowledge in the field of karst geochemistry; especially in the field of
- carbonate equilibrium
- dynamics of carbonate systems
- reaction path in karst systems
- karst evolution
- influence of inner/outer conditions
- possibility of paleolo-climatic reconstructions
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, student will better understand the principles of karst processes and the development of karst under different conditions and will be able to apply the acquired knowledge
- at karst environment protecting
- in further basic/applied research
