  • Parts of the final state examination and its content
    State Final Exam consists of four parts:
    1. Defense of the bachelor thesis;
    2. Language competence and skills (knowledge of selected language /Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian or Bulgarian/ in both theory and praxis, in contrast with other /Southern/ Slavonic languages);
    3. Literature and literary theory (knowledge of South Slavonic literature, ability to compare);
    4. Knowledge of history and culture of South Slavonic area and the Balkans.
    Parts of the State Final Exam are based on curriculum of the profile courses (language courses, theoretical courses and seminars on linguistics, literature and literary science, courses oriented on culture and history).
  • Suggestion of theses topics and the topics of defended theses
    - Comparative thesis aimed at certain aspects of grammar structure of South Slavonic languages (eventually in contrast with Czech);
    - Thesis (could be of contrastive character as well) aimed at certain aspects of vocabulary of South Slavonic languages;
    - Reception of works of South Slavonic literary production in Czech cultural area;
    - Reception of historical events in the Balkans in 19th and 20th century in back-then Czech press (Annexation crisis, Balkan Wars etc.);
    - Elaboration of different aspects of dissolution of Yugoslavia, eventually dissolution of Yugoslavia in Czech press etc.
