Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Students of the course will be able to understand the problems of sports nutrition. After completing the course, they can apply basic knowledge of nutrition in tennis. Based on the acquired knowledge they can properly assess and make corrections of the nutritional needs of athletes.
Syllabus
  • Nutrition issues in preparation for competition and training, during exercise and for recovery after training and competition (macronutrient amd micronutrient intake)
  • Hydration strategies pre, during and post competition and training; dehydration in sport
  • Application of nutritional supplements in sports environment; the role of ergogenic aids
  • Specific health issues related to sports nutrition
