- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is introduce relevant didactic categories and theoretical knowledge with respect to age-related differences of pupils and domains, in which will students work. Another aim is to enhance pedagogical thinking a pedagogical competencies.
- Learning outcomes
- After finishing the course, the student is able to explain key concepts of didactic, to analyze lesson with respect to educational needs of pupils, to choose appropriate teaching methods, to use diagnostic methods with respect to needs of students or groups, to apply principles of pedagogical communication in instruction.
- Syllabus
- General didactic as a basis for teaching. Aims and issues of general didactic. Components of educational process (aims, actors, conditions, methods). Teaching methods (with respect to age-related differences). Alternative and innovative methods. Teaching methods regarding to special educational needs. Modes of classroom organization and lesson phases. Teaching and learning strategies. Curriculum. Content transformation. Classroom management (with respect to age-related differences: pre-primary, primary, secondary, adult education). Pedagogical diagnostic. Pedagogical communication.
