Course objectives
Social theory of new media aims to map contemporary theoretical reflection of ICT, with focus on main themes related to sociological, anthropological and communication research and theory of new media. The course deals with issues of public sphere, identity, embodiment, politics and power, community, forms of computer mediated communication and structural change of society.
