- Course objectives
- The main objectives of the course are:
Understanding the role of human resources in an organization: Understanding how human resources contribute to the success of an organization, and how HR processes and strategies can support the organization's overall goals.
Knowledge of HRM concepts and methods with an emphasis on technological development: Familiarization with key concepts and methods of human resource management (HRM), such as recruitment and selection, employee training and development, performance evaluation, compensation, etc. Getting acquainted with modern technological tools and software used in HRM, such as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), algorithms for employee recruitment and selection, chatbots for employee communication, etc. Development of skills necessary to apply theoretical knowledge of HRM to practical situations, including the ability to design and implement effective HR strategies and programs.
Knowledge of current trends in HRM: Understanding current trends and developments in human resource management, such as HR digitalization, development of hybrid work models, diversity & inclusion (D&I), work-life balance, etc.
Development of communication skills and leadership skills in the HR field: Developing communication and leadership skills specific to human resource management, including the ability to effectively lead teams, actively resolve conflicts, and provide guidance to employees and organizational leadership, considering the role of HR Business Partner (HRBP).
Ethical and social aspects of HRM: Introduction to ethical and social aspects of human resource management, including the importance of diversity, employee rights, sustainable work environments, and quality of work life.
Analytical and strategic thinking in the HR field: Developing skills to analyze data and information related to human resources and using them to make strategic decisions for organizational growth and development. - Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
Identify key contributions of human resources to organizational success.
Formulate HR strategies and processes that effectively support the organization's overall goals.
Evaluate how HRM contributes to the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of an organization.
Utilize HRM methods and tools for recruitment and selection, employee training, performance evaluation, and compensation, among others.
Apply modern technological tools in HRM for efficient management and process optimization.
Assess the benefits and challenges associated with implementing technological innovations in an HRM environment.
Design and implement HR strategies and programs tailored to specific organizational needs and goals.
Identify and interpret current trends in HRM and their impact on organizational strategies.
Adapt to new technologies and practices supporting modern HRM strategies.
Assess the contribution of new trends such as digitalization, D&I, and work-life balance to organizations and utilize methods and tools derived from these trends.
Effectively communicate with employees and organizational leadership regarding HR policies and programs.
Provide advice and support to employees considering the role of HR Business Partner (HRBP).
Design and implement policies and practices supporting sustainable and ethical work environments.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data on human resources for strategic decision-making.
